The 2024 Infrastructure Transparency Index (ITI) presents a ranking of procuring entities based on their average transparency scores and evaluates Uganda’s overall performance across key dimensions of infrastructure transparency. The assessment measures the enabling environment, institutional capacities and processes, citizen participation, and information disclosure.

The results show notable improvements compared to the 2021 Index, reflecting increased commitment by procuring entities to transparency and accountability in public infrastructure delivery. The rankings also highlight variations in performance among central and local government institutions, providing valuable insights to guide reforms and strengthen governance in infrastructure management.
