Stakeholder Breakfast Meeting to Relaunch the Upgraded GPP

The Africa Freedom of Information Centre (AFIC) in partnership with Public Procurement and
Disposal of Public Assets (PPDA) are set to hold a stakeholder meeting to relaunch the
government procurement portal following the recent portal upgrades with the CoST new
sustainability modules of the Open Contracting for Infrastructure Data standard (OC4IDS), and
training for Procuring and Disposing Entities (PDEs).
The relaunch scheduled to take place on the June 11, 2026, at the PPDA offices in Kampala. It
aims to increase awareness and use of infrastructure data publication on the Government
Procurement Portal among key stakeholders- Government, Civil Society and Private Sector.
