Ensuring that partners, government institutions, civil society, and the public remain informed is essential to the CoST approach. Over the past years, the organization has strengthened its digital communication platforms ensuring stakeholders remain informed about infrastructure projects, transparency reports, and sector developments. The organization’s website and other social media platforms continue to complement the information disclosure component of the CoST approach by making infrastructure project information, reports, and research publications widely accessible while reinforcing the initiative’s mission to promote accountability in infrastructure delivery.
Significant Growth in Website Reach
Our CoST Uganda website recorded strong growth in 2025, reflecting increasing demand for transparent and credible information on infrastructure governance.
Between 2024 to 2025, our website saw a significant increase in engagement as unique visitors grew by approximately 77%, while total visits increased by about 35% demonstrating growing interest in CoST Uganda’s work on infrastructure transparency and procurement updates.
Our website attracted a diverse international audience attracted visitors from across the globe, with the top countries driving traffic including the United States, Canada, China, Bulgaria, Australia and Uganda among others reflecting growing global interest in Uganda’s infrastructure transparency initiatives demonstrating effective service for purpose as a hub for transparency and accountability. The platform enables both local and international stakeholders to access critical resources, including:
- Transparency Index reports
- Assurance/Independent review reports
- Infrastructure project documentations, articles and stories of change
- Research publications and policy briefs
- Updates on infrastructure governance and procurement practices
Through maintaining open access to this information, we continue to strengthen public accountability and empower stakeholders to participate more actively in infrastructure oversight. And, retaining support of our partners and donors, CoST Uganda will continue enhancing its digital platforms to ensure that infrastructure transparency information remains accessible, reliable, and impactful.
