On 19th June 2025, CoST Uganda in partnership with Africa Freedom of Information Centre will convene a validation/dissemination meeting to Discuss the findings of Results from the Modelling Exercise for the 32 New Data points of Open Contracting for Infrastructure Data standards (OC4IDS) that assessed Its sufficiency on Project Selection and Appraisal Data.
This exercise has been through a pilot study between CoST Uganda and Kampala Capital City Authority through the CoST -The Infrastructure Transparency Initiative that tested the use of sustainability and climate finance Data standards of OC4IDS.
It follows a series of events of the Responsible infrastructure Project that comprises an Infrastructure Investment Campaign. This meeting will bring together key different Key Stakeholders including the Permanent Secretary for Ministry of Works and Transport, Executive Director for Kampala Capital City Authority, Executive Director Africa Freedom of Information Centre, Executive Director- Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Authority, Executive Director -National Environmental Management Authority, other representatives from KCCA and its divisions, Civil Society Organizations, Media Representatives and others to review and respond to the results from the Final Report for the 12 analyzed and Modelled Road Infrastructure Projects using the 32 Data Points of (OC4IDS).

This half-day event will feature presentations, a panel discussion, and plenary sessions. A report capturing key insights, commitments, and media coverage will follow.
